Stair Case Walk Animation

Class: DC 490-Acting for Animators

Assignment: create an animation in which a character goes up a flight of stairs in reaction to hearing something breaking in the distance. Was a three part, quarter long assignment. Character had to have some type of identification as well (i.e. the character should be clearly identified as a child, a teenager, an adult, or an elderly person, etc.).

Notes: animated entirely in Adobe After Effects. This version is the third cut. The two previous cuts were considered not too bad by the instructor, but the character still needed a motivation. Duration of time: Five or four days. This was due mostly because the actual "going up the stairs" animation required a lot of inbetweens due to the man using a cane to go up the stairs.
