Granville Ohio High School Varsity Basketball Game versus Newark Catholic 1/29/2009

The Granville boys and the Newark Catholic boys played a tremendous game tonight. Both teams played hard. With 30 seconds left in the game (where 1 point seperated the two teams) a poor call was made. I'm sure that given the choice, both teams would prefer to have the final outcome of the game solely determined by their hardwork and skills. Nobody will know for sure how the game would have changed had the call been made correctly, It's unfortunate, I think the kids deserved the opportunity to know for sure. Newark Catholic ulitmately won the hard fought game.

Similiar thing happened with the Heath game there.. NC was clearly out of bounds in the last second and threw up one from about 1/2 court and it swished and they won. Totally know how you feel!
