  • @EGMAG : I buy whole chicken and fish from the grocery stores. If the meat is safe for humans to consume, then it's safe for your dogs and cats to eat. You don't have to worry about parasitic worms. They've been inspected before they're sold to the public. Heck, I eat raw oysters at a sushi restaurant. They're delicious with a splash of lemon juice and hot sauce. Do I have worms? Nope. Do your research on the meat seller before buying anything from them. That's my advice.

  • Great video!!! I posted one like it and can't believe some of the rude comments I got telling me I was an idiot and a liar. I suppose all those folks that still feed their animals "processed food" still just don't get it. It still boils down to..."What would a dog eat in the wild"? The answer to that of course is.....anything he can find!!!

  • I gotta say I like all of Zephyr's videos and tips. He's great.

  • @EGMAG Dogs and cats are both evolved to kill parasites once consumed, unless their immune system is jacked up. :/ Which isn't to say you should buy meat that hasn't been checked for them.

  • I have my very first dog, and he's about 7 years old now. He's been on kibble his entire life because frankly, I never considered feeding raw due to my inexperience. He developed epilepsy at 5 years old, and I'm wondering if switching him over to a raw diet now might help reduce the number of seizures he has? He also has some seasonal allergies that a friend told me might be curable with raw food, but I'm having trouble convincing my husband to let us try it. Someone else's advice might help.

  • @zzzzzzz0000 your soo lucky you have a wolf dog the closest breed that will look like a wolf and the breed that i adore is a gsd

  • @zzzzzzz0000 His weight now.

  • Hi, I have an 9 month wolfdog do I use his ideal adult body weight to calculate how much meat to give him or his weight now.

  • @SuperGrooter

Find a local "farmers market" and go to the poultry section and tell them you want a 40 lb. box of chicken drum sticks. Bell & Evans carries some of the best organic out there. Seeing as how it is good enough for humans, it is even better for your animal than ANY stuff you could buy off the shelf. A box costs about 60$ . Throw in some turkey legs, wings and some pork spare ribs and your dog will LOVE you for it...Hope this helps...seeya
