  • how do u make the skeleton?reply plz

  • The skeleton (or rig) is made up of bones & constraints to keep them together. Softimage|XSI contains some pre-created templates to work with and our 'Character Design & Integration' DVDs show you how you can create custom rigs in XSI, Maya or 3ds Max

Check out our site and visit the forums for more info!

  • Wow, I went to your site and I think you have exactly what I was looking for! I have used XSI before, I am a real fan of Half Life 2 and I was just trying to start a mod for it. Video's like this are perfect to learn some extra techniques! I'll visit your shop soon!

  • Thanks for the interest! You won't be disappointed, (especially when you start playing a Half-Life 2 level you built yourself)!

  • @Sanfordkill100

Because. it wouldnt be able to be web client based and if a model has too many polys and high res textures it causes lag

  • I cant believe RS software is this. If this software have cool graphic, why cant the graphic of our RS face be clearly!!!

  • 1750 usd

  • i thought Softimage cat is a plugin for 3ds max?

  • 6+ (7 wasn't out at the time this video was created)

  • It'll all depend on the rig you're using, and what the creator set up for it.

I've seen plenty of hand ones by default to allow for quick selection of fingers or default poses (closed fist or open hand for example), but I haven't seen a default one with body poses.

  • If you have a hard time tagging the rig in the viewport, try using the scene explorer (hotkey 8), or the schematic view (hotkey9) to find the correct bone/controller there.

  • Can somebody help me as i've hit a dead end.. In XSI when i press F3 for the synoptic view i can only pose the hands, there is no option for body posing at all.. I thought this was default in Synoptic view though?
