I'm going to miss him on the sidelines. It was a dream come true when he came back. Now I have to live without ever seeing him coach the Redskins again. :( His career will always be celebrated and looked back with joyful nostalgic eyes. The good thing is we can still learn from him as he continues his public life in Nascar.

Joe Gibbs is a good man we can all learn from.

Gibbs vs.Belichick..no comparision..just watch the first minute of this vid..can u imagine belichick talking like Gibbs...never...Gibbs is a class guy..and he had a better winning # than Bill but also won 3 super bowls with 3 different QB's..How many SB's did Bill win without a QB named Brady???

lets not forget character..belichick had an affair with a married woman..shoved a photogapher..shoved a camera man..and ran up the score in 2007..the 98 vikings and the 83 redskins who held the recoed for most points in a nfl season NEVER went for it on 4th down with a 20 point lead int the 4th quarter with 4 min to play..belichick did....how many more points would the 83 skins had scored had they pulled that crapped??? lets not 4get da pats won all 3 SBs by a fieldgoal..

Damn right Kashuad17! Joe Gibbs is 1 step from God for Skins fans. To get to 1 SB is a fantastic achievement for any head coach. To do it 3 times shows the man's skill! His 2nd innings showed us Skins some of the best advances since 1992. They did NOTHING until he came back and he showed us the playoffs again. REDSKINS RULE! HAIL SKINS! I may be English, but I BLEED Burgundy & Gold. I'm looking forward to my 26th season as a skins fan....

Joe Gibbs is a way better coach than Bill Belicheat. He won 3 SB with 3 different QBs. Enough Said.

Its amazing what gibbs accomplished when he came back. The team he inherited was in shambles and his salary cap was atrocious. Gibbs left a much better team for zorn than he received.

I think the defense would match up well to any Niner team and our offense would be matched up well to your defenses as well.

We all forget about the 1983 Redskins who didn't win the Super Bowl yes, but scored 541 points, lost just 2 games, but only by 1 point each, had John Riggins, a record breaking running back with 24 rushing touchdowns, Theismann being the Pro Bowl MVP in an NFC rout and a ton of other Pro Bowlers.

Anf the Niners did lose to the AFC Title Steelers which proved they were good, but the Redskins also lost to 2 winning teams in the playoff Cowboys and 10-6 Eagles. The 1994 Niners did have to go without Walsh and had that bad loss, but Seifert had proved he could coach by winning a Super Bowl as a head coach and assisstant coach, not forgetting the NFC Championship games he led them too.

I actually don't know all these teams would be matched up well.

Oh yeah I forgot about the 94' Niners my bad. Still, 485 is a lot, but true that we did take our starters out in the final game of the season up 17 on the Eagles and had won 3 shutout games 34-0, 45-0 and 23-0, but didn't score anymore. They still finished first in scoring in the NFL. They also in the playoffs allowed only 41 combined points, while the 1994 Niners allowed 69, but didn't run up the offensive score because there was no need. Their two losses also were by a combined 5 points
