Riddlerx333x, Jesus said to "go and make disciples of all nations...." The fact that some people in the "church" are corrupt is nothing new - Jesus talked about that, too. There are also many good people within the "church." So, irrespective of the fact that some within the "church" are bad, we still love and obey Jesus.

The truth is that you'll only find true peace in Jesus. You may be hostile to Christianity, but the truth remains. We, as Christians, share this good news with non-Christians, because we want to share the way to true life.

I leave for my second mission trip in July! I will be headed to Nicaragua! I went to Honduras in April (2011) and it was life changing! Remember being a missionary starts in your backyard!

awesome video, but missions is so much more than just short-term mission trips to Mexico or wherever. I think our traditions of doing those have made us confused of what "missions" is. Also, we like to use the verse about the harvest being plentiful but the workers are few. In reality, there are tens of thousands of national missionaries (native/indigenous) ready to be missionaries now, but they just don't have funding, even though $2000 a year will support them. check out Gospel for Asia

YWAM is awesome, yes. I agree with TrueWord that we should focus on what God can do through us in the current and every situation. However, I believe we should pray, listen and obey. Not "figure it out with God." Unless that is what you meant anyway, haha. MsJasmine, I recommend you pray, and wait. You're always welcome to come to Japan!

@Riddler333x. I apologise to you and the world on behalf of Christians, for all the evil we have committed and the sin we continue to do every day. There is no denying that we are screwed up. One thing I can say for sure is that I am a broken man, and that even with a great education I have so much, too much to learn on my own. I am not better than anyone else, and I feel ashamed of the attitude that many Christians have come to take, one of superiority.

I hope you can feel God's love too.

I think we should first try to be focused on where we live, we're in the places for a reason but it's up to an individual to figure it out with God.
