CNBC - Dollar Will be Utterly Destroyed, Global Currency, New World Order

Friday, 6 Nov 2009 - The dollar will get "utterly destroyed" and become "virtually worthless", said Damon Vickers, chief investment officer of Nine Points Capital Partners. Due to the huge wage disparities between the United States and emerging markets like China, Vickers said that may resolve itself in some type of a global currency crisis.

"If the global currency crisis unfolds, then inevitably you get an alignment of a global world
government. A new global currency and a new world order, so we may be moving towards that," he said.

The world is moving into the same direction, we will all be united at one point, probably we will have wars and millions of people are going to die before we get there, but in the end we will get there. Everything will be united, one currency, one government, etc.... this is real great stuff. I cannot see why would anybody be against this, I cannot just live and think for myself, I have to think for my son, his future grandsons, etc...

@49fiori "Power tends to corrupt, and absolute power corrupts absolutely. Great men are almost always bad men." Imagine the amount of power a world president/leader would have. The more things are centralized the less influence you will get, if you want to change something about the system. The Chinese gov. has a hard time controlling their 1.3 billion people (tax evasion is rampant). How hard will it get if 1 government tries that to 6 billion or more billion people?

@49fiori I do think this system of countries is working fine so far. Cooperation between countries is never bad, but I don't think the same rules&laws for every person on this planet would work out in a good way. Geographic/social/cultural differences are too big. It will be hard to satisfy everybody's needs, as they all have a different view on what life should offer. And euhm 1 question.. Would you like Berlusconi to leave? :)

Centralized power is the objective of plutocracy and who will deny it to them? The government? the Socialists? the Libertarians? the Church? the masses? It's not simply a preconceived conspiracy, it's the inevitable outcome of the collusion of state & monopoly capitalism (i.e. facsism).
