@STREETRACEN4U You get more manouverability, it scrapes better, and they don't have to be removed if you want to use the truck for something else until the next snowfall. Scrapers are generally used for urban (in town/city) plowing, saving the larger front mounts for the highways and country areas. When I lived in Chicago, every garbage truck had a scaper under it in the winter time.
