GRID or Glamour Reified Identity Dimension 2009/2010 Isaac Richard
A, a citizen of nightlife hungry for freedom, finds herself in ecstasy at an underground club, "I'm in heaven!" But absolution finds its faults as A slips across a series of signifying scenarios, transitioning from ghost to failed super-villian, accidental witch to vector-fueled psychic traveller. These post-human posings ask questions about what it means to be alive, and propose that the secret of self-agency could actually lie in the magical act of glamouring. Is frivolity just excess or can it be blessed? GRID suggests yes, that style, in fact, can be consciousness.
