Um... I have a question: Do you two do any sort of food production (sprouts, fruit tree, etc.) there or is everything brought in?

hi dashaina, i tried growing peppers this year and had no luck so i read up on it and found out if there isnt many insects then the pollen wont get transferred and the peppers cant grow. it helps to rub your finger or a q-tip on each flower to spread around the pollen, i did this and now i have a large crop.

Thanks for the tip! We actually have done that with our tomatoes in the past, however, the problem this year wasn't the lack of insects, it was the lack of flowers on the plant, they just didn't produce any...though they started to and the buds never bloomed

Spam, porky goodness or a disgusting by product of the pork industry?

I love it. Pork in a can that can sit on a shelf for years, what's not to love. Most of my friends think it's disgusting(booo). What do you and Jamie think?
