  • ya ikr hes an amazing commentator

Top Comments

  • He's the only announcer who knew it was in.

  • That's how it should've gone down. Too bad NBC's TV contract with the NHL sucks and doesn't allow local announcers to call the games for their fans. We needed Pat Foley as he would've known it was a goal as soon as he saw Kaner throw his arms up.

  • him and foley were the only ones that knew it went in. Dr. Kane strikes again

  • @Luxornv It's still awesome.

  • If only Lloyd Pettit could have called that moment: "Over To Kane............A Shot, A Goal, AND A CUP!!!!"

  • Pat Foley was in his basement when he recorded this

  • Pat Foley never had a chance to get this call. Even though he is a good announcer, he probably would have been just as confused as everyone else who called this. This call is correct only because it was recorded after the outcome was known for the Blackhawks Convention later that year.

  • @xxdkthxx well i only said huet because he got us through the ENTIRE regular season, but niemi got us through the playoffs.....

  • @2002Smalls Huet, missed? youre joking. there is a reason he doesnt even play in the NHL anymore

  • @marilyn007manson1 this was recorded by Pat after the Hawks won the Cup. It was just for the fans to enjoy.

  • @marilyn007manson1 NBC doesn't even always cover them when there good. they just cover whatever team is good and can get deep into the playoffs/finals :/ i really like CSN Chi and Pat Foley and Eddy O.

  • this hawks team was definitely a great one, and all the players, like Dustin Byfuglien, Kris Versteeg, Tomas Kopecky, Brian "Soupy" Campbell, Andrew "Laddie" Ladd, Nick Boynton, John Madden, Troy Brouwer, Adam Burish, Brent "Caveman" Sopel, Ben Eager, Colin Fraser, Jake Dowell, Cristobal Huet, Jack Skille and Antti Niemi will all be dearly missed.
