  • Yup, know the Skipper pretty well. Good stick and a helluva guy. I've shared several beers with him. Funny as hell, lemme tell ya. He mostly flies our Cobras but he also is qual-ed in our OH-6 Loach. He's a MANIAC with that thing!

  • Tell Skip my dad and I said hi and I hope to volenteer at the Dayton air show this year if you guys are there.

  • Lemme guess. From one of our airshows. Did you enjoy the flight?

  • Yes, and yes. My dad is friends with J.R. "Skip" Lam. We all hail from Greenville, OH. My dad and Skip graduated from Greenville High School class of '66. Do you know Skip?

  • Same view I had when my step son and I went up in one last year at the Blue Angel's Airshow in Valdosta Georgia. He was begging me not to take him up but when he got up there he was trying to wave at people down on the ground, which of course couldn't see him but it's the memorie's that we came home with that make's all the difference. God Bless our Fly Boy's.

  • nice sound

  • If anyone can point me in the direction of a great uh-1 sound clip (preferably inside the chopper with minimal ugly sounds) it would be greatly appreciated, Im trying to get a little project of mine off the ground (no pun intended) and i would be happy to post once its completed. THANKS!

  • Was that the 2006 Vectren-Dayton Air Show?

  • when do they have that airshow... and how much did the ride cost?

  • where's the shootin'? Come on, shoot something!

  • Yup. I'll be sure to. Hey George, thanks for workin with us. It's always good to hear from a fellow reenactor. Hope we can do more in the future. We have only one Vietnam show this year at Ft. Campbell from May 19-20. If you're interested, be there. I wish I could, but I have drill that weekend.
