I love the tones he's getting out of this amp. I used to own a Boogie Triaxis and it was such a pain in the ass that I swore never to look at Boogies again. This demo is really changing my mind.

Also have this amp, using el34 tubes for country, changed the speaker to a celestion gold, yeah I know ,a 50 watt speaker so take it easy,with a g&l asat classic tele w/ semour ducan pickups and a few pedals, A real sweet rig. What else can I say. Cheers

Got this amp. SOOOOO HAPPPYY becomes complete w/ a good overdrive pedal. BEST CLEAN>>>>>BEST OVERDRIVE>>>>>> &w/pedal>>>>>>BEST DISTORTION. Super fat/bassy, Chimey and full cleans, plexi like higher gain- open sounding & clear. You can make this amp sound warm and dark or high fi & twangy. The tube reverb is refined and managably pro sounding.
My mesa 1x12 easily can be heard over an ENGL half stack. Its the best. period.

Wow these demos are quite a bit better than the Guitar World magazine demos with Paul Riario. Paul is somewhat repetitive when he talks and he always dials in buzzy overdrive tones. Thanks for the awesome review!

Finally someone (outside of Mesa boogie) who really shows what the clean channel can sound like. Thank you for such a great review. You really show the possibilities of this amp. Really great playing as well.
