In this video I test how it it stream video from online source, also we see how long it takes to boot Ubuntu, browser, boxee and how long it takes to power off. I love this little netbox. (So far)

  • Would you recommend this, or one of the other models of the netbox for a HDTV set up? I just want something to stream movies on via hdmi on my 42". my only concern is with resolution. I want the screen to be filled without a border around the desktop. What are your thoughts?

  • @Datron101 I have a netbox 330i connected to my 40" HDTV. I tested the video and audio with an HDMI cable. The video play back was fine but the audio wasn't good. I now use the VGA input and audio cable to connect it to the TV.

  • @computerwizservices Bad HDMI audio is a bummer.

  • @Makazuke I didn't get a chance to test games on it, maybe next time. If anything I'll post results on here.

  • Thanks for the review. I'm thinking about getting my hands on the Foxconn NT535 and using that as a dedicated small low power consumption home Linux server.
