Monty failed at arnhem but he did beat rommel at El-Almein-that was the first big allied victory in ww2 (expect for the battle of moscow)

@bgibb101 they say that some spys manged to capture enemy intel but by the time they informed the high command the planes were 3km away-Montgomery Did beat rommel at El-Alamein and was pretty good at sicily

Actualy, Arnhem failed because they had a landingzone 32 kilomteres away from the bridge. Second of all, Prince Bernhart knew there was a SS PanzerDivision near Arnhem. If they listend to him, they might could have gotten Arnhembridge!

@gamesbok Good catch, and both SS divisions were way under strength after the Normandy battles and I think that both divisions were recruited from ethnic Germans in the occupied provinces of Eastern Europe.
