Clint Walker is Captain of the Guard

Clint has described numerous times how he got his start in showbiz in the 1956 movie "The Ten Commandments" and I always wondered just where his part in the movie was. Well, take a close look at the attractive guy in a sort of Viking helmet and we have our man. I zoomed and centered this clip as much as I could to get our handsome fellow. What a shame Cecil B. DeMille took away his lines; reportedly it was because he would have made Yul Brynner and Charlton Heston look like midgets next to him. What a wonderful Moses he would have made in this picture!

Theres another part , check when they are in the mountains with Moises, people on the ground partying, Clint shows up in he hill at the left side that I can remember , but very short appearance.

Kinda sucks for Mr Walker. They didn't use him cause he was towering over the lead characters. lol. Maybe they were afraid to put Brennar and Walker together. Walker would have made him look puny. Puny doesn't work when your one of the leading actors.

Sadly Clint tested for the role of Joshua, but because John Derek had more screen credits,and Fox insisted he play the part, or no Debra Paget.. I think he would have been a great Joshua..
