nice truck man, i have a 4bt in my jeep, and i want to put a bigger turbo on there cause the h1c is kinda small. did you like the hy35 or the hx35 better?

@alexl333
The HX35 did a lot better for me. It had a 58mm wheel vs. the 56mm on the HY35.
Now I made the HX35 into a "35/40" hybrid. I'm using a 60mm HE351 wheel and the 12cm^2 wastegate housing and love it.

It's a ZF5 from an F350. Found the engine as a core on craigslist.

@cp2589 what if you live in cali where the diesel laws have gotten worse would you still be able to do a swap in say a durango or a s10

@CumminsDave92
It would be pretty difficult. The best thing to do would probably be to talk to the guys at the DMV and the emissions testing place in CA and ask them. Generally though, the engine must be of the same class as what was originally in the vehicle, must be the same model year or newer than the vehicle, and must meet all the diesel emissions requirements for those years.
