After Cheltenham Races: the Montpelier Wine Bar

After the races there are various haunts on which race goers descend; but Montpelier between the Queens Hotel and the Montpelier wine bar is the favourite area for waterholes. The Montpelier Wine Bar is a hub of activity every weekend but when the races are on it gets really busy. The evening before jockey Jason Maguire had been in; though the evening after the first celeb Eliza bumped into was Johnny Ball; father of DJ Zoe Ball and former 'Play School' and 'Think of a Number' presenter! Johnny was in Cheltenham for the Literary festival; is the author of several children's books and was enjoying a real ale. More recently Johnny has been vilified for questioning the anthropegnic influence on climate change. Eliza as well as a horse racing blogger and model is a palaeoclimatologist: what does she think?
