  • @jojamful very good observation, Michael made it known in earlier interviews that when he was younger he would attend EWF concerts and get ideas for his show, true story!!!

  • i have the dvd with a perfect quality. here are 14 performers, the guest musicians are 5: beloyd taylor and the phoenix horns 4 people. without them 5, the original members are 9. brothers maurice white, fred white and verdine white, philip bailey, roland bautista, johnny graham, ralph johnson, larry dunn and andrew woolfolk. i know them by heart since 10 years when i started to listen to earth wind and fire and liked it most of all groups ever.

  • @emmettk Saw them twice also, in the late 70's and in 2009/2010. Maurice wasn't with them, but it was still an awesome show! Would go every week if I could! I never get tired of their music!

  • for those who don't know, the original members are 9, and in this concert there are 5 guest musicians: the phoenix horns aka don myrick, rahmlee davis, louis satterfield and michael harris and a singer beloyd taylor. only earth wind fire makes such music. their genres are soul and disco, spiced with elements of funk and jazz. the horns are typical for jazz and the bass guitar is typical for funk. for example, the song september is disco spiced with element of funk and jazz. this bandis my favori
