The guitar didn't cut out...the f@ckin camera man pulled the cable out of the amp when he stepped on it. Itis lucky for him that Billie Joe keeps the song going no matter what, (see FOD live at Woodstock) because I would have introduced him to "Das Fernandez acrossin da headz", right there in the Netherlands.
