Tom Morello, outspoken Rage Against the Machine guitarist and more recently an even more outspoken solo artist as "The Nightwatchman," sits down with Project Noise about the personal and political impact of Barack Obama's election. Includes: interview, witty stage banter, live shots, shots of Tom drinking from a coffee cup.

Morello covers what was, what is, and what could be - and warns not to get too euphoric - that there is more work than ever to be done.

  • @amboyace by the way, how many racist do you know want to end the war on drugs, which in reality overwhelmingly effects minorities being sent to prison? Libertarians believe in voluntary relationships, not forced relationships. So opposing the civil rights act was not based on race essentially. But you fall right into the politically correct trap, and thing government can solve all problems, when it usually just leads to more.

  • @amboyace So you are going back 50+ years to support your claim most Libertarians are racist? That is quite the generalization you got there. I think you are drinking too much of the cool aid of whatever propaganda site it is that you get your info from. Try having an original thought for yourself, you will see it doesn't really make any sense.

  • @amboyace I don't really need to google Ron Paul as I am pretty familiar with him. people take things out of context and don''t pay attention to what he is saying or why he voted a certain way. the way he voted on gay marriage rights is really good example. he believes that marriage is a religious thing and the government shouldn't be involved whether your gay or not. he voted against a gay marriage bill because he doesn't want government to be involved. racist or not he isn't all libertarians.

  • @scoobydoo6906 No...they really don't. Google Ron Paul on Civil Rights. Then come back to me on that.

  • @otziftw Since when? They did NOT and STILL do NOT support Civil Rights Act of 1964, the Voting Rights Act of 1965 or the Fair Housing Act of 1966. How does this square with what you claim?

  • @amboyace libertarians believe in the constitution and all the civil liberties afforded to everybody. most of us are not racist idiots like you believe.

  • @mamdore Well he does have a bachelor's from Harvard in social studies so I'd venture to say he's not ignorant. I would like to see a new video of him on Obama and see if he either tries to save Obama's face or just admits he sucks.

  • once again we have a great musician who knows very little about how the government and people in power actually work. As I recall the democrats did take majority control of the senate in 2006, and once again we blame Bush for all of our problems when really its the house and senate running the show

  • @buryedalive hahaha that's good but i think it goes "...all part of the same bird. vote all you want, the flight plan never changes, but yours is fucking hilarious.
