It was soon Saturday, the Deb.
I woke up excited. I couldnt wait to do my hair and get my make up done. I quickly brushed my teeth and went downstairs. Mum was the only one up. I had my breakfast, cereal of course, and then we immedialty started on my hair. We decided that we could do it ourselves instead of doing it at a barber shop. After 45 minutes, we were done. We finished earlier than we expected and I loved my hair. I quickly went to get ready because we had to go to the shopping centre to get my makeup done. Only Dad and Mr Jonas were up when I left.
We went down to the Body Shop to get my makeup done. It took them 45 minutes. I had to have lunch before because I wouldnt want the food to ruin the makeup. After we were done we went back home. It was 1 oclock. Joe and Kevin were gone by the time we got back. Joe went to do his hair. Like as if he needs his hair done, its perfect the way it is..but anyway. I got into my dress and walked downstairs when I was ready. Everyone said I looked gorgeous and Mum took heaps of photos of me. Even Nick made sure he had a couple of photos. It was soon time to leave, but we needed to wait for Joe. I paced around the room, fretting. Where could he be, I wondered. I didnt want to be late. Just at that moment the doorbell rang. I sat down assuming someone will get it. Dad was the closest to the door and I was surprised when he told me to get it.
"But youre closer"
"Go and get the door"
I obeyed and answered the door. Joe was standing outside with a bunch of flowers in his hand. Roses, to be specific.
"Wow, you look amazing" he said.
I blushed, and he handed me the bouquet.
"these are for you"
"Wow thanks, but you didnt need to"
"No. I wanted to."
"thanks" I looked at him a smiled. He looked completely amazing.
He leaned into my ear.
"Consider this our first date"
I laughed and heard a chough from the verandah.
"Kevin?"
He came out from his hiding spot.
"Finally, geez how long do you guys take to say hello? Hes hot, youre amazing, we get it. Lets go."
He dragged us out of the house and into the car. We were singing along to the radio the whole way through. Kevin dropped us off at the hall and drove back home to pick up everyone else. When we got inside we saw that every couple had arrived. Joe had to take pictures with people again because it was probably the last time theyll see him.

The Deb was a whole lot of fun. And it was even better doing it with not only your boyfriend, but your boyfriend whos a celebrity. Its so cool. I got like a million pictures. Joe and I had pashed a couple of times just to annoy Steve. It was mean but pretty funny. And its not like I didnt enjoy it.
Nick got the whole dance on camera. He made sure he didnt miss it.
It was soon all over. And we were back in our beds exhausted. Joe and I danced nonstop and our legs were aching.
We were glad that we got to lie down. He gave me a goodnight kiss before going to his bed.
I soon fell asleep, thanking God for this day.
