New Traben "John Moyer" Bass

I just bought this baby. Goofiness, kinda sloppy playing, etc. But, at least you get to see and hear the damned thing.
The bits where I say that I suck poke fun at a certain someone that started saying that I "suck" as a bassist only AFTER we had an argument. Yeah, right. That's like a kid throwing a hissy fit because he didn't get his way. LOL!

How does this bass sound for other styles of music?

@WackyPick Not sure what you mean. If you watched the video, I start playing a funky blues line, with a pretty deep tone. Then I move to a heavy metal riff with a brighter tone. I don't know what else you want, lol. The bass is active, and has a variety of sounds available by selecting different pickup configurations and tweaking the tone knobs. From deep, dark and ballsy, to bright and snappy & everything in between.

@ebihn14 If it's anything like this one, it should be awesome. I got it at a steal price. I tried a 5-string once for several months, and it just didn't gel with me, you know? I think I'm gonna be a 4-stringer forever. I'm curious about 8-strings, though. You know, with the strings in pairs. // But, I digress. The Traben's great.

@hecbiz75 yah, i had been looking at an 8 string but decided to try and save up for a five. then of cource i go on youtube and see a left handed fretless 12 string bass and realize 5 strings are nothing compared to that XI Oh well we cant all have a bass made by the gods
