@kgoodies008 I think I figured out EXACTLY what to do. The three little lights on the left side of the panel represent which roulette table is rolling. The police chief'c table is the right-most one. You need to have the magnet activated for the table before the chief's (the tables switch in clockwise order, so the upper table)
Once the ball is rolling (numbers flashing) on the chief's table, DEactivate the magnet button. This triggers the raid if everything else was in order.

@Luisfius You have to press the button when the numbers are moving/flashing, not when the croupier is speaking. :)

@rioulduke2 Great ambiance, excellent music, very well written, very well done setting (That is EXTREMELY unique as well), a graphic style that works perfectly with the technological limitations it had (which has helped it age better), great plot.
It controls awkwardly, though.

hey, i have a question... how the HELL do you do that thing to make the officer lose, i got stuck at this part 7 years ago when i first played it and forgot about it,how do you do it?

You manipulate the buttons in Manny's desk, more or less randomly.
That's what I did, anyway.

hey guys do you think there ever gonna make a grim fandango 2???,if they do it'll be good,i hope the camera is slighty changed cause it can get annoying,anyone agree that they should make a 2nd one?
