This ballad was the lead single taken from their 3rd and final LP "Walkin' on Air". The album was recorded in L.A., during 1987, and was produced by Bill Maxwell.

This performance belongs to the norwegian TV show "TopPop", and it was the song's premiere.

"If I Fall" was included on the "Best of Bobbysocks" Cd, launched by Universal Music Norway in May 2010, alongside with another 21 songs like Let it Swing, Waiting for the Morning, Radio, More than I can Say and Johnny and the Dancing Girls.
