@TonyGonzo1988 No doubt man. And same.

@BBoiiLite That's a good point. It was good having a debate with you. It's nice to know there is another die hard New Edition fan out there like myself. And I apologize for calling you names and being rude that was childish I'm sorry.

@TonyGonzo1988 I see what you're saying man, I'm not trying to takeaway from Bobby's success cause that whole album was dope. But until I hear Bobby address it himself with Ralph. I don't care. What matters is that they all saw past it and get along.

@BBoiiLite the group was nothing without him. I think he got too many leads in their early songs. The other guys were just as talented. Ricky has the best voice in the group in my opinion. They could all have shared lead vocals and the group would have been just as successful. And yes I did meet Bobby personally and we had a long conversation about this. So it's not like I'm talking outta my ass.Ralph wants to say Bobby used his whole concept and style for the Don't Be Cruel album. Really??

@BBoiiLite In Ralph's interview, he only gave his side of the story. Of course he is gonna speak of himself in the most positive manner. The other guys know the truth and know exactly what went on. Ralph wasn't the perfect, supportive lead singer he seemed to be. Look at just about every live performance, everytime someone sang their part and tried to get their time on stage, Ralph would try to somehow push them out of the way. Ralph had lead singer syndrome. He was too egotistical and felt like

@TonyGonzo1988 Bobby always had the utmost respect for ralph and vice versa. You acting you're MIke Bivins and you were in the group to know what was goin on. You're not, you're just a regular fan like everybody else bruh. Ralph more happy than anyone for Bobby's success. And they still hung out in that time (1987-1989) So sit down with all that ignorant bullshit.
-
@TonyGonzo1988 Do you know any of them PERSONALLY for you to be saying it's jealousy? So if a motherfucker like you knows it was jealousy without being in the group. Then OBVIOUSLY Bobby would be aware of that himself. And if that was the case, do you think he'd be running around with Ralph and Johnny in Heads of State? Nah I don't think so. They're all grown ass men so I don't think Ralph would have to lie about something like that.
-
@BBoiiLite Of course Ralph is gonna try to take credit for Bobby's success. Bobby was way more talented than Ralph. Period. Bobby could dance better, and had a more mature voice than Ralph. Ralph's vocals on an album like Don't Be Cruel wouldn't even sound right!! Ralph along with everyone else in the group kicked Bobby out and he destroyed them music wise!! He sold way more records than the group and all of them as solo artists. Like I said, JEALOUSY!! Plain and simple.
-
@TonyGonzo1988 Lmfao you dumb sack of shit. Watch "Ralph Tresvant Interview Part 3" He did a interview with Rob the historian and explain the whole situation. YOU get your facts right DICKHEAD.
-
@BBoiiLite Man you crazy as hell. Bobby didn't get no inspiration from Ralph. If anything Bobby inspired Ralph as well as the rest of the group when Don't be Cruel came out. If you didn't notice, when the rest of the group went solo they tried to be as raunchy and have the same sound as Bobby. There was jealousy pure and simple. Babyface, L.A Reid, and Teddy Riley were the only people who inspired Don't be Cruel. Get your facts right STUPID NIGGA!!
Bobby was probably already plotting his New Jack Swing Takeover!lol
