Seeing as I'm a movie fan (Though I want Prime to finish before they even THINK about TF4) 2011 was a good year for me. BTW, you should get some of the Voyagers like Shockwave, Megatron and Skyhammer, those are damn good IMO.

Hopefully Prime Season 2 surpasses Season 1 in every way become as good as TFA, Beast Wars and hell even Cybertron.

I can understand you're opinion Dave, but I think you're making Prime out to be a more mediocre show than it is. I'm not saying it's better or worse than Animated, but I do believe it's a worthy addition to the Transformers franchise.

And even Animated took ideas from previous series' and used them as a starting point. Why is it a problem that Prime does it? You also failed to mention a lot of the good things that Prime has brought to the table like great action scenes. I love Animated but even I was sometimes disappointed with the action in the series. They also brought in an interesting take on Unicron that actually is original. Not to mention Unicron hasn't really been used since Energon.

I think you're being a little too hard on Prime Dave... I liked Cullen's performance as Prime, and it didn't sound rehearsed to me. Also, what do you mean about revenge being okay on Airachnid? Arcee was aware of her mistake in the episode but never said Airachnid was a different story. And they never met after that episode to show it. And what's the problem with Wheeljack? Prowl can be a ninja in Animated but Wheeljack can't be leader of the Wreckers?

I want to see more of what's been happening with the 3rd party companies!! They're been producing some of the best homages and; as far as I'm concerned, BETTER toys than Hasbro has been hashing out lately. Throw on some reprolabels and you've got an amazing Transformer!! Hercules (non-devastator) is almost complete and MY GOD is it awesome! I'll keep buying TF stuff just because I'm a psychotic completionist...but I adore the 3rd party representation we've been seeing! :) Take care Kalel!

Thanks for the tip on Rescue Bots! I watched it online and i is kinda fun. The animation is what it is, but the premise seems like it should be fun. Merry 2012 and happy Transformers reading!
