played a friends b-day party so I decided to try a vox ac4 live to see how it does with a band. Its a bit thin but it works.

  • Mick is this the head/cab, the combo, or the head through a different cab?

  • @Iodine74 This is the little combo

  • I like the whole band. Really got the playing styles down.

  • @stilwel no.. no.. its sound thin im agree with mick :) and sounds boxy to me..

  • @DarkRising12 and he's 43! :)

  • happy to hear this. I have this combo too and I'm about to start in a beginning band and now I don't have to buy a new amp.

  • Ha the best part about this video is that had Mick not mentioned it was run through an AC4, we'd all assume it was done through his AC30. Great tone.

  • @mick3b1g Cool, thanks for the reply. In the clip it sounds ok, but I have played that one and I can understand what you mean about it being a little thin. Have you tried running it through another cab? Or maybe through the speaker in your AC15, just for the heck of it?

  • rehearsal or not, it's good :)
