My first competitive hill climb. Was a very well run event. Very challenging hill. I did not do very well, but plan on making a few changes to the bike and trying again in the fall. The two strokes work very good on this hill. Would be difficult to beat them in the stock class.

  • what would u set up different on ur bike the stock setup should be fine i think its not having the runspace ,but i could be wrong good job tho where to u find these competition hillclimbs is there a website

Hello pitbull, If I were to take an interest in this form of competition, I would have to build a bike from scratch. My KTM is a very slow revving engine and is very tractable. I was not able to spin my tire and accelerate up the hill without the front end lifting. My bike is perfect for the loose hills that you and I are accustomed to. Those boys are good and know how to set their bikes up for that type of competition. Although I would enjoy climbing with them at Trevorton.

  • doh the wreck at 3:15 was great. Were you the last rider in this video ? You mighta had the cleanest run in the whole video.

Hello Denny, Yes that was me. I got my butt kicked on that hill. Those boys are good out their. I'm set up for Trevorton, I did not have a chance. I plan on making a few changes and trying again in the fall. My bike is a torque monster, not a drag bike. Don

  • why dont people keep their feet on the pegs? lol

  • @Kingtrevorton i was thinking about building a hillclimb bike, possibly out of a newer bikes frame like an 07 yz450f frame with a 426 motor,yz426AF with a slightly extended swingarm probly will only cost $2500 bucks to build and the yz426 motors are cheap and powerfull with a heavier torqier flywheel weigh, i think it would have great results, let me know what u think man
