  • Great set of videos! Answered a lot of questions for a new turner. The sanding paste you use does it create issues with finishes at the end since it is wax based?

  • The paste is a mixture of mineral oil and bees wax. Yes it will be a problem if you are going to finish with something besides wax. I use this to cut down on the sanding dust and I like a wax finish.

    Thanks,

    Carl

  • Nice work Hayden

  • Thanks!

  • Great video , the box came out real nice . What is that paste in the can you use during sanding ?

  • Thank you. The paste I am using is beeswax mixed with mineral oil. It helps to keep the sand paper clean and cuts down on sanding dust.
