You're officially retarded. Human beings are animals, we are mammals and classified under "Hominoid" along with chimpanzees, gorillas and orangutans. Your view of animals is not healthy; you can't even get off your anthropocentric pedestal and accept the fact that humans are animals and that raping other animals so that there are more for you to eat is perverse. You suffer from carnism; you are impossible to reason with because your ideologies are based on self centeredness.
-
@LegendxWind Humans are not animals, and animals are not humans. Your inability to distinguish between the two shows a lack of basic reasoning skills. What I said may sound "ridiculous and twisted" to you because your view of animals is not healthy. To a normal person you sound "ridiculous and twisted". Unfortunately your condition makes it impossible to reason with you.

@ferretsarehardasfckk The only bad cholesterol is processed plant fats like corn oil. An imbalance of omega 3, 6 and 9 is also not good. However animal fat is plenty healthy in moderation.
Since it is technically impossible to force an opinion on an animal I will ignore your last ridiculous sentence. You seem to have an abnormal need to control other humans that is not quite healthy. However, I am sure it is not possible to reason with a radical like you.

How is that a perverted statement? Your non chalant attitude towards animal suffering is the same nonchalant attitude so readily applied by rapists and other human oppresors, I just thought I'd give you a heads up as to how ridiculous and twisted you sounded. And yes, animals are raped by artifical insemination frequently to produce a hamburger or a slice of bacon for you. You PAY for animals to be raped and slaughtered and you call ME perverted?
-
@XCritonX Are you kidding? Yes I know there's a difference between good and bad cholesterol and there are no bad cholesterol in a plant based diet. No the important thing is that you don't force your opinion that you need to eat meat to survive on billions on sentient beings that are being brutally abused and slaughtered every year for human consumption.
-
@mfranck1 You eat your weeds, I will eat my meat. Lets see who is more healthy. The important thing is that none of us is trying to impose our personal views on any other.
Claiming science as your refuge is a bit hollow. I have seen scientific studies that point in all, and often contradictory ways. Most studies have a strong bias, very few have sufficiently large test groups, almost all are inconclusive and suffering from unexpected errors. They are almost as reliable as statistics.
-
@LegendxWind So you are equating rape with eating meat? You are one sick individual and disgustingly disrespectful of rape victims. You should be ashamed of yourself, you pervert.
-
@ferretsarehardasfckk So your body is at room temperature? Motor oil also stays liquid at room temperature. You apparently know nothing about healthy vs unhealthy fats. Your comment is wrong on so many levels I don't know where to start. Cholesterol is found in almost all foods including some vegetables, it is the scientific name for food fat. Total cholesterol levels are valueless measurements.
The important thing is we can each choose to eat what we want, to each his own.

@XCritonX My fathers a meat loving guy like you, he is very slim and not in bad shape... That didn't stop him from suffering a heart attack due to a clogged artery in his heart because of years of consuming high cholesterol animal products. Think about it, vegetable oil stays liquid at room temp, animal fat hardens. And that shit is hardening inside of your heart. So good luck with your heart disease because you chose to remain uneducated on your dietary choices...

@XCritonX How do you figure most vegans are sickly and over weight when statistics have proven otherwise? Eating a plant based diet for a whole year can lower your cholesterol by 24%...A product only found in meat.. that means you're less likely to die of a heart attack. Vegan diets produced 30-50% less cancers. Vegans also have a 1/10 obesity rate... That's a lot less than omnivores... Eating a vegan diet has also reversed type 2 diabetes, a disease associated with a bad diet(meat)
Well done video, it does not look "homemade" at all. It must have taken a lot of time and resources to make. Are the actors professional actors? What is the language that the hosts accent is supposed to reflect?
stevesusenet 1 year ago
@stevesusenet Thank you for your comments. The production company is professional but the actors are not professional. The cook's accent is not supposed to reflect any region; we just wanted him to seem "not American" so the plot would be more credible.

This sort of debate thrives on half truths, lack of knowledge and ignorance. Just because someone sounds plausible doesn't mean they are. We were given intelligence to use not just blindly accept other peoples ideas. You measure the truth of ideas, books, videos against scientifically known facts that can be verified. This video shows a logical development of ideas and feelings not a logical development of facts. Still its a clever piece of work.

@aussijon This is a two-minute book trailer, not a scientific treatise meant to convince people to change lifelong consumption patterns. I suggest you read the book and then revisit this conversation in a discussion forum on the issue.
