Having lived near Windmere for most of my life, I find it difficult to believe there is a "monster" living in the Lake. But, unlike most naysayers, I do not deny that there may be something in Lake Windmere. Some of the ripples can be explained by otters and pikes. But some of the larger ripples can't be explained. There is also the fact that the lake is deep enough to hide something quite large in especially near the "shelf" of rock.
@PuRexNooDle Some people think it's a sterile eel that's grown out of proportion. If there's anything in there of size, it has to be the former or a catfish that's been released into the lake. No mythical beast I think.
