Learn how to watercolor a beautiful fall evening sky, and a couple of colorful owl characters with Stampendous Art Director, Lisa Hindsley. Lisa has been watercoloring for many years and takes a childrens book illustrator approach to Fran Seifords characters, that look like they could be a part of a whimsical story of their own. This is the first in a series of videos by Lisa who is anxious to share her knowledge and tips with you for watercoloring your favorite stamped images!

  • What is a good kind of cardstock to use for this? A basic white card stock will that work.

  • We use a white card stock by Mohawk, it's called Color Copy 98 and we get from a printer supply store. Thank you for asking & happy stamping!

  • So, so pretty. I love your style. And truly love the softness that is achieved with watercolors. And going the extra step in coordinating the paper colors with the colors in the watercolor, brings the whole card together, beautifully. Beautiful work. Thanks so much for sharing. Hugs, Suzy
