ADOPTED! Tucker is a stunning young red and white male. Tucker ended up at a kill shelter as a stray. He's been with me for about a month and a half now. He has tons of drive, is food and very toy motivated, very active, and good with other dogs (large and small), people, and loves kids. He is about one to one and a half years old, about 22 3/4" tall (all legs), and FAST. He loves to fetch and is great at tugging and has a lot of potential as a performance dog. He's also housetrained and crate trained.

Tucker has a very sweet temperament and loves to be snuggly. He is brilliant and very easy to train. The video you see of him doing the A-frame, jump, and obedience are after just 2-3 sessions of training! He has an amazing amount of potential. Tucker has a great temperament and hasn't shown any weird obsessive behaviors but he will need an experienced dog person simply because he is very active and will need a lot of exercise or training to keep him busy. Tucker would be incredible in a performance home for agility or flyball but would also be great for someone looking for a dog that can keep up with all day hiking or biking trips.

PLEASE CROSSPOST TO YOUR FRIENDS! To apply or read more information about Tucker, visit the BC Rescue website at http://www.bcrescuetexas.org/adoption.html

  • Is he still avaiable?

  • He has a pending adoption at this time. We'll know by the middle of November if it's going to be a match or not.

  • That's great news. I was actually thinking of inquiring about him, as we already have one Border who has me going to the park five times a day anyway. Hope it all works out.

  • There are lots of great Border Collies in the rescue group right now and you sound like the perfect home!

  • I love this dog. He's definitely the real deal. If I had a little more space to run and a little more time to give, I'd put in an application on him.

  • He's a GREAT dog. His personality has come out so much and he is just a character. Great boy.

  • He's a ringer for my dog Shasta. I adopted her when she was 1.5 years, last year. But she was a re-home situation but was bred in TX. Same movement, structure, temperament and looks. Interesting.... Glad he found a good home.

  • Yes, he is. We have a couple applications on him but nothing for sure yet.

  • is he still available

  • He is still available.
