Skateland Starring Ashley Greene Preview

Kristen Stewart isn't the only Twilight star taking center stage at the Sundance Film Festival-Ashley Greene is getting buzz also-we've got the lowdown on her new flick up next.

Welcome to ClevverTV's movie alert for "Skateland." I'm Joslyn Davis with all the deets on how Ashley Greene is ditching the fangs for some serious 80's style. She stars alongside Shiloh Fernandez. He'll play the charismatic Ritchie Wheeler, while Greene is one half of a brother/sister duo Brent and Michelle Burkham.

Skateland is being called a coming of age drama that takes a look at all the characters as a they struggle with problems at home, recklessness with alcohol, and the potential downfall of their beloved roller rink. The story will also include a due amount of violence, heartbreak and new beginnings. On a side note, we also hear that the soundtrack will be packed with lots of great 80's music. Also, judging from all the new pictures from the set of the movie, the clothing choices and hairdos are pretty 80's-fantastic too.

Skateland is getting lots of buzz already and is obviously jam-packed with a who's who of up and coming young stars. The movie will compete in the Dramatic competition at the Sundance Film Festival, but based on what you've heard about the film do you think it has what it takes to win the top honor? Haha well it's like the only role Kristin ever does! Socially awkward teenage girl who doesn't really think she's pretty even though others do, aka who she is in real life. I just hope Ashley can pull it off better and show more emotional range than Kristin ever really gives...

@ourrein I haven´t seen any movie shere she plays a girl who thinks as herself as not pretty ¿are you sure yoy have seen her movies? the only one where she had bad selfsteam was adventurland and it was because the lost of her mother and the abandone of her dad, you´re just biatch talking cause you´re to lazy for a kristen perfomance and need some easy and obvious stuff like the one you would spect from an amateur like ashley
