Me and my Japanese friend visited Nara prefecture to see Tōdai-ji "Eastern Great Temple". A truly awesome and memorable day.
These apparently starving deers were all so anxious to wrap their lips round those delicious deer-biscuits. One even followed me up to some step where it attempted to even climb those precariously looking stone steps. Observe... I was trying to give that poor little deer some grub. たいへんですね。
おもしろいね。私達は多くの楽しい時を過した。
They are cute at first specially to the outsider. But when the population gets too big and becomes annoyance, they have to eliminbate some of them.

Love it. I went to Japan on a school trip a few years ago, and got a fortune at one of the temples in Nara. A deer ate it out of my pocket. >>
Its fun though. Feeding them. They bow.
