When I was young, they said ­ and I think it's a good slogan ­ men of iron and ships of wood. Today it's the other way around.

I can only be convincing, if I'm consistent. And our products are convincing. Convincing because they are being produced consistently. No colorants, no added flavours.

Pecorino is a hard cheese. We don't buy graded cheese and we don't buy artificial flavours. We buy whole loafs, directly from the producer.

Reinheitsgebot [purity law] means, everybody has to live it, up to the management.

The term consistency just fits.
