  • Shelley: Our sweetest songs are those that tell of saddest thoughts.

  • Thank you very much. Our saddest songs are the sweetest, was said by an English poet.

  • @virkoul

    thank you very much .

  • @crazyoldsongs

Rehne do mathe par mere, maa tumne jo haath badhaya......

  • does anyone know the complete lyrics to plz make out the missing word after MERE in the second last line of the last stanza !

REHANE DO MERE ------ PAR , MAA TUMNE JO HAATH BADHAAYA

can it probably be HRIDAYA , SHEERSH ,KESH OR JEEVAN ?

  • so heartouching song. tears roll over my cheeks without stopping. i m usually not emotional or sentimental, but only dis song can make me emotional. The singers of those days were great singers and musicians whom none can match their level and mastry. They r ultimate musicians who attained self satisfaction which is the prime purpose of their lives. I have watched this movie and wen i saw this song cudnt stop crying....

  • @DrRed1969 KAISE HO GOON GAAN TUMHARA =HOW CAN I PRAISE YOUR QUALITIES.

  • Wow! Have no words to express my feelings. Had been longing for this song for ages. Saw the movie a couple of times but the song had always been cut off. May God bless you my dear. Only persons with high spiritual base and sense of music can enjoy this piece. Mukesh at his ever best. May you live a thousand years to keep such music alive for generations to come.

  • @DrRed1969

the words of the third verse are: "kaise ho gun gaan tumhara / jo kuch hai vardaan tumhara / tumne hi mere jivan ke sapno ko sach kar dikhlaya"

  • Can any other critical listeners explain the 3rd verse starting like "kaise gobh ubhavu tumhara, jo kuch hai sab". I am always crazy about lyrics and this one is not very clear to me.
