this is nothing but a back door to identify each law abiding citizen who owns a handgun and buys ammo legally. how? the bill stipulates that your thumb print be taken and on file at point of purchase right? so think about it. gang banger murders with a .40, local cops come and SCAN ALL the .40 sales INTO their system. do you think they delete them after scanning and no match? remember the thumb print you had to give for a drivers license? presto changeo!! YOU are now identified!

California is soooooooo stupid! People are completely ignorant of weapons. If I leave a weapon all by itself in my backyard from the time I'm 20 to the time I'm 80 nothing will happen to it, it will probably rust and get old, maybe fall apart.
