A year after Peter and Gordon got back together for the Mike Smith Tribute Concert in New York City, they performed at the Lock 3 Ampitheater in Akron, Ohio. Once again, youtube has got the video and audio out of sync. But then, it is a free service. Thanks youtube!

  • First off, thank you EugeneBo for uploading this gem. Secondly, I turned 57 last nite. I was 10 when this song broke the airwaves, and I just loved it and still do. I mention my age because when this vid was taken, Peter and Gordon were easily late 60's or early 70's in age. For these guys to sound this good, and to look this good, I'm quickly learning that it is not only a blessing, but damn hard work to keep your voice and appearance up like they do here. We are witnessing a real treat, here.

  • That is AUSTIN POWERS and GORDON WALLER! ;o)

I read that Peter Asher was Mike Myers' inspiration for Austin Powers. When I read it, I thought...Perfect in looks and personality! :oD

    RIP,Gordon...Keep the music comin', Peter!

  • I loved this music. God bless you Gordon. You are missed. Peter please keep the music alive....

  • Peter Asher the one on the left with the red hair

  • it's lucky to older and vital.

  • What did you expect? What do YOU expect to look like in 40 years? I know you meant it well, but their music still sounds great after all these years, right?

  • It awaits us all, the youth inside us is all that counts.

  • Which one sang the higher harmonies?

  • THAT is Peter and Gordon?

Holy crap! They're unrecognizable. I was just watching them singing this song on a '60s video. A couple of fresh-faced youths, barely out of their teens.

What a harsh and brutal master is time!

  • it seemed like this song was always on the air right after breaking up with someone. was it bad timing or faith? thanks for posting.
