does it only work in america?

@noddlequeen2010 Actually, I made this video back when I was in film school, where I had access to video capturing equipment/software, so I just captured it from the my DVDs or recordings. There are programs you can find online that aren't as good, but they work (the one I currently use is iShowU for Mac).

@flickchick85 thankyou so much i downloaded ishow thing but how do you get the sound fron the dvd without using the mic?

@noddlequeen2010 The ones with the logos in the corners are probably from downloaded episodes, not directly from the TV.

And there's an "Input Selection" section in the iShowU control panel, and from there select "Record System Audio" instead of "Record Microphone Audio" to get it to take the sound directly from the DVDs. Or just turn the volume way up and the microphone will should up the sound, lol.
