Dave (Jay Baruchel) is just an average college student, or so it appears, until the sorcerer Balthazar Blake (Nicolas Cage) recruits him as his reluctant protégé and gives him a crash course in the art and science of magic. As he prepares for a battle against the forces of darkness in modern-day Manhattan, Dave finds it is going to take all of the courage he can muster to survive his training, save the city and get the girl as he becomes THE SORCERER'S APPRENTICE.

  • @stoffis772 There gotta be at the end of the credits it shows that Horvath is still alive.

  • Great movie! I'm hoping for a sequel, although I believe it didn't do great at the so-called "box office".

  • @GoldXrose wow. maybe we saw different movies. I watched it for a second time and laughed at all the plot holes, and continuity problems. I really hated the main character. And I know he's supposed to be annoying and dorky, but honestly he pulled it off so well it just made you NOT laugh or be entertained every time he was on screen. Not a great way to present a main character. Elijah wood was annoying and dorky in spiderman, but you actually cared about him after a point.

  • Romantic and adventurous movie, and the reason for any trouble in this movie is love.

    It's quite... ?!?!?

  • i liked nick cage in National Treasure too.

  • @AncientHistoryBuff no, he was in National Treasure

  • @AncientHistoryBuff no it isn't, he was in National Treasure and they are both Disney.

  • @profssrfunk It's actually a very enjoyable ending with a emotional ending

  • Awsome movie and it had Big Daddy in it (aka nick cage)

  • Okay, I'm going to buy it tomorrow.. It must be real good!
