http://www.ntv.co.ke Despite the glory that greeted the arrival of the trophy, the event was a grim reminder of what is wrong with football in the country. Kenya began its world cup campaigns in 1974 but has never qualified even once. and as ntvs Joe Ageyo reports, the country has only earned the notorious reputation of having more action in boardrooms than on the pitch.
Akina John Shoto devoted their time to Kenyan soccer and should be accorded the dignity of carrying the mantle as far as running of the football leagues in Kenya. Everybody else kaa kando.

politicians should keep off kenya football, Raila, Sambu, Sambili, Kasuve, please let ex footballers like Shoto Lukoye run the game.
Everything polticians touch in Kenya turns to disaster.

Soccer in Kenya has become more about winning n never ever losing! It is no longer fun to play! Any sport that is 'work' and involves violent emotional outbursts on losing is a turn off for many talented youths! Make it fun..then pick youthful talent for our national team!

Joe Ageyo on the replica trail as well. The only time I will waste my time to go see a world cup trophy is when Harambee stars win the real thing not this coca cola marketing ploy.
