HSA Spaghetti bridge 2010 Houston High

HSHIGH'S FIRST& BEST SPAGHETTI COMPETITION This event was one of the biggest events that HSHIGH hosted in this first 6 week. We all were excited from the beginning to the end. It was a lot of fun; the competitors were the ones who couldn't hold their selves. Everyone wanted to win this competition but unfortunately we had 3 winners.
The Physic students and students who don't take physic competed in this competition. It was on September 23. 2010 at school. The students waited for almost 3 hours to see who the winner was, and we got three winners at the end:
1st place was Neriman Cavdar,
2nd place was Abimael Lopez and Christian Cifoentes,
3rd place was Anju Kawachi.

And we had three beautiful bridges; bridge number 3, Patricia de Guzman& Christian Truong, bridge number 105, Corinne Usero & Saskia Henery, bridge number 80, Rocio Banilla& Allison Alexander.




But the purpose of this competition was to train people to do well in all areas as engineering, architect, math and common sense. And all of them seem to have this characteristic, because all of them had wonderful bridges which they had constructed for many days. Those bridges had beautiful style and some of them had also colors.
In the event some teachers also stood there for 3 hours to watch the competition. Some of them even selected the 3 beautiful bridges which got extra credit from their Physic teacher. At the end everybody helped to move the desks and all the confetti's that had been used, the winners were the happiest but the other students got the joy from this wonderful event. (Author :S.Cifci)
