It is modern and good. However, I do not think that it suits Kyoto,Town from ancient times.

  • I think there should be a balance between modern and ancient times. Both are good and important.

  • The future is here, but there is no antiquity. That's regrettable for me. I also wanted to them design our tradition.

  • I visited this station on last May... I was totally gobsmacked..... Its a huge station and all the escalators and steps to reach the top of the building.... Just one word WOW !!!

  • I was there in 2000 and will be going back to Kyoto on January 4th, 2009. Can't wait! Kyoto is an AWESOME place to visit. We stayed at the Hotel Granvia in the Station-I think we'll be staying there again.
