http://www.ProFirstAid.com You can treat first, second and third degree and Chemical Burns prior to seeking medical treatment by using saran wrap and freezer bags. Be aware of potential shock of the burn patient. If that does occur, you will have to treat the patient for shock.

  • That's just makeup! :-)

  • I was thinking the same..didn't have to go burn the dude for our sake.

  • if i got 1 dergree burns and it was jus blisters and i put burn oitment on it will it be fine?

  • Burns actually go to 6 degrees, but rarely ever go past third, so most don't hear about them.

  • @kthanid83 Well, his doctor thinks there are 4th degree burns, b/c he's the one who said the burns were fourth degree. Burns involving muscle and tendons.

  • leave the popped skin over it. its still a good prevention from infection. keep it clean and dry. dress it if you need to use it or work or go to school. Allow it to air out once a day.

  • no 4th degree, 3rd is the highest burns go. that's really bad what happened.

  • I have a friend who was burned over almost his entire face and large portions of his upper body. He was at work in the World Trade Center and was trapped inside.

He said he has fourth degree burns in places.

He's had 5 reconstructive surgeries and is currently getting his sixth. The fire was directly on his body and he couldn't even put it out by rolling.

    That's pretty disgusting.
