True, but I've watched a great speed trap in a small town in North Texas. The cop evidently forgot that there was a ditch directly in front of his car and took off after a speeder... And nosedived into the ditch. I laughed, he didn't and the speeder got away.
But you're right most of the time. Texans generally take things like this with a grain of salt and a pound of humor.
