doyoupoon.com: Med Skit "Inter-D"

David Poon, a third year medical student, desperately trying to find something he's good at.

This is a skit co-written with his friend Agata detailing the absurd concept of teamwork being taught through structured curriculum.

At the University of Alberta Medical School, students are subjected to 'Inter-Disciplinary (Inter-D)' a course that, multiple times a semester, forces students from different faculties to be 'leader' 'advocate' 'recorder' and other roles that were explained in elementary school.

Some production notes:

All performers are medical students at the University of Alberta, Class of 2010 in the Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry.

His friend Kelly is the breakdancer, otherwise known as the "Valued Support Dancer"

His friend Ian is the male country dancer, or "Tertiary Dance Provider"

His friend Abdullah is the Michael Jackson tribute artist, or called "The Pop Star"

Agata, who David brainstormed this skit with, is the female cha-cha dancer, also known as the "Front Line Primary Dance Care Professionals."

Mark, her dance partner, is just "doing cha-cha until he can get into pop-starring."

Three "Bollywood" dancers come in for the finale, the one furthest stage right being Carly. Our choreographer Nawaaz is the male Bollywood dancer.

As you can tell, our Sound Guy on stage had alot of trouble with the timing...

David's also hopeful he won't become a worse dancer for doing this.
