The PAW robot can bound like a squirrel and roll up and down hills using motorized legs and wheels. Unlike other hybrid wheeled-leg robots that can only walk, PAW can run at over 1 m/s by taking advantage of the springs in its legs. It was developed at McGill University's Ambulatory Robotics Lab and Mechatronic Locomotion Lab. People involved in the project include James Andrew Smith, Inna Sharf, Carl Steeves and Martin Buehler. Very cool idea. Bigger wheels could help in bad terrain. But very cool.

its unbelievable if it can,t drive it will bounce like a deer across the surface ,you could make this walk on water if you wanted ,very smart looking, very cool ,and right to my favs ,major work of art.
