@YouCanCallMeAL100 Thats sort of a misconception that the seeds will be sterile. "Terminator gene" technology is fairly new and generally not used for seed that's going to be sold to home gardeners. What WILL happen though is that if you plant a seed from your hybrid grown this year, what you get next year will NOT be the same, it might have different characteristics of one or both parents. Open pollinated or heirlooms "grow true". So if you planted saved OP seed you'll get the same nxt yr
@YouCanCallMeAL100 ... i think they were just cuttin' up in this vid because Jesse knows what he is doing with plants... I didnt have any luck with the Mr. Stripey though, have you?...& I was just so excited to grow one, but it didnt have any very prominent stripes... think i will try again this spring...
@gardenmagik Mr. Stripey is a hybrid, not an heirloom. What does this mean? Hybrids you buy as plants and their seed will not be fertile, though he says they are an heirloom variety I see now. I think this thing is a joke since nobody in their right mind would put human waste on a garden plant...
They are remaking Deliverance, I think Uncle Tony might have a chance at a part! Who's pickun the banjo here?
